About Us
The mission of Get Organized Today is to lead people through the organizing process in order to simplify their life, save time and reduce stress.

I have always been passionate about working with people and solving complicated problems with simple solutions. For over 15 years I have worked in banking, customer service, training, project management and technology management.

My secret... I have not always been organized. My other secret? Becoming an organized person is a skill that ANYONE can learn. I did it myself! In my former life of clutter, it was exhausting trying to maintain all the stuff I had gathered over the years. I collected hand me down’s from when I first moved out on my own, boxes and boxes of memorabilia and of course, all the new and exciting things that I just had to buy. The best way I hid my clutter was to close doors, shove things under the bed and in the back of closets.

Some exciting life changes inspired me to decide once and for all, to get help. I learned the process of organizing my space and started with the areas that I used the most, which for me were my bedroom closet and bathroom. With each project I finished, I became more and more inspired to keep going until the entire house and office was organized. Every closet, every drawer, every space, what a wonderful feeling!

What is a Professional Organizer?

The best definition I have found is by Debra Milne. She says that "A professional organizer is a personal consultant who provides structure, solutions and systems to increase productivity and reduce stress. We help others restore order to their lives, creating systems and helping them form new habits that enable them to live and work in a peaceful, non-chaotic environment."
